How the calculation works
Each feed’s nutrient content is the midpoint of its typical range (or your entered value). Ration values are dry-matter-weighted averages. Interpretation lines are qualitative and only describe directions.
- Not a ration formulation tool: it does not check requirements, amino acids, minerals or intake limits.
- Minerals and DCAD are not calculated here; use the DCAD calculator with your mineral analysis.
